A vision is a possible future that you want to help create. you want to change the world, and that means that your vision wont happen anytime soon. You have to challenge yourself and find something that could be possible if you, together with stakeholders, collaborative partners, and other forces. It might be helpful to use the following templates.

Create a couple of examples from the above and test them on people around you: team, stakeholders, family or friends. Or even random people on the street. Don’t say what company your are representing, just ask them if they share this vision and if it engages them. If not, ask why? Ask what would set their hearts on fire. That will help you in your decision.
The vision should be something anyone can relate to, not just your customers. It needs to be larger than that. Best of luck with changing the world!
