When writing your brand story, you’ll need to think about the following:

  • The moral of the story. What message do you want your story to share
  • What’s the plot? You need a journey to captivate your audiences
  • Characters that the audience can recognize and connect with
  • Challenges and problems to overcome
  • A turning point in the story
  • A decision that creates change
  • A good ending to wrap everything up!

Some of the best brand stories have three common themes:

  1. Universal Theme: A core message connected to our emotions. What problem are you solving?
  2. Transformation Theme: Showing how the brand has evolved through experiences and actions to be able to solve a problem.
  3. Highlight the pain/gain: describing what could be lost or won through the story.

Why not try to describing your journey in this different ways? Which one creates the most powerful story for you?
